Amy Heywood

Hello...

I’m Amy Heywood. I began my artistic journey in 2003. My passionate approach to creative pursuits enabled me to evolve as a self-taught artist with a deep love for a variety of mediums. Oil and wax being two elements I love incorporating in my work.

I fully embrace my faith through my art. My creations - from abstract paintings, figure studies, encaustic landscapes to animal portraits, - my work aims to reflect the creativity, grace, beauty, promises & freedom of Our Heavenly Father.

When I’m not creating in the studio, you can find me studying for seminary classes or on the soccer field with one of my children. My work can be found at my studio (Greensboro, NC), The Gallery at Grandover (Greensboro, NC), Watkins Sydnor (Greensboro, NC), Crazy Jane’s (Charlotte, NC), and G. Grace Gallery (Nashville, TN).
