Update from Moldova

Everyday I have been eager to give an update to each of you for your overwhelming generosity, but we have been waiting to receive confirmation that all the money from her art sales had been placed directly in Anna’s hands. I was in communication with Anna yesterday and she did indeed confirm that she had received OVER $5,000 FROM THE SALES OF HER ARTWORK. My heart is overwhelmed. Anna’s heart is overwhelmed. Her words: “I cried for a week with gratitude.” The refugee crisis continues to flow over the Moldovan border, and as I think of Anna being one of many who is there with welcoming arms to offer the love of Jesus to them, my heart is undone by the sovereignty of God. Anna is a picture of kindness, warmth, love, and grace. This is a photograph of Anna from this week holding two of the youngest refugees she has been able to love. Her days are LONG, but the woman and children she is serving keep her going.

If you’re new here and would like more information on Anna, I have a video in my Instagram feed from a few weeks back explaining our friendship and how we met. More info is available here. There are still FIVE PIECES of original artwork by Anna available for purchase here.

THANK YOU to each of you who purchased Anna’s art or made a donation to the work she is doing. Words cannot describe her gratitude.
