This is the second in a series of four 18” original Amy Heywood encaustics on board. A 12” round is mounted on another cradled board with plaster application, for a finished dimension of 18”. Layers of melted beeswax, damar resin, pigments, and oil are fused together with various heat tools to create depth and texture.
