Inspired by the coastal landscape and created for the 2021 Hampton Designer Showhouse, this is the first in a series of nine 14.5” original Amy Heywood encaustics on board. A 12” round is mounted on another cradled board for a finished dimension of 14.5” Layers of melted beeswax, damar resin, pigments, and oil are fused together with various heat tools to create depth and texture.
