Inspired by the coastal landscape and created for the 2021 Hampton Designer Showhouse, this is the first in a series of nine 14.5” original Amy Heywood encaustics on board. A 12” round is mounted on another cradled board for a finished dimension of 14.5” Layers of melted beeswax, damar resin, pigments, and oil are fused together with various heat tools to create depth and texture. This piece was not installed in the showhouse and is available to purchase immediately.
